About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Psychiatric Physician Assistant for an established outpatient behavioral health practice based in Hartsville, South Carolina. This role involves providing psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and medication management across regional outpatient clinics, with two days per week based in Hartsville. The position offers collaboration with primary care providers and behavioral health professionals, managing an average outpatient volume of approximately 20 patient interactions per day, and a predictable weekday schedule with minimal phone-only call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Graduate Of An Accredited Physician Assistant Program REQUIRED
- Active South Carolina Physician Assistant License REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 Years Psychiatric Experience REQUIRED
- Experience Performing Psychiatric Assessments And Medication Management REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication management services
- Collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams
- Deliver compassionate outpatient psychiatric care
- Provide care across regional outpatient clinics with two days based in Hartsville
- Collaborate closely with primary care providers and behavioral health professionals
- Manage an average outpatient volume of approximately 20 patient interactions per day
