About The Position
IMA Clinical Research is seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Manhattan research team. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers the opportunity to conduct psychiatric evaluations and support innovative clinical trials in a collaborative, research-focused environment—with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. The role focuses on evaluations with minimal ongoing patient management, contributing to the advancement of psychiatric treatments.
Requirements
- Active New York Physician Assistant (PA) license.
- Psychiatric, behavioral health, or mental health experience preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Interest in psychiatric clinical research and protocol-driven care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric interviews and standardized rating scale assessments.
- Evaluate participant eligibility for psychiatric clinical trials.
- Perform clinical and physical assessments per study protocols.
- Collaborate with investigators, research coordinators, and study sponsors.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Participate in study trainings and investigator meetings.
