About The Position

IMA Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) with phlebotomy experience to join their NYC team. This role is central to medical discovery, involving the coordination and management of clinical trials for new treatments. The CRC will ensure studies comply with FDA requirements and GCP guidelines, collaborating with investigators, sponsors, and clinical staff. Prior experience coordinating clinical research studies with active investigational products (IP) from industry sponsors is required. This position offers hands-on experience with innovative studies, career growth in clinical research, and the opportunity to contribute to advancing medicine. The starting salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical research and phlebotomy experience.
  • Experience coordinating clinical research studies involving an active investigational product (IP) supplied by an industry sponsor required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects independently.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical Research Coordinator certification (CCRC) preferred.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Clinical healthcare experience (e.g., vitals, diagnostic tests) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage clinical trials according to sponsor protocols and SOPs.
  • Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of study protocols and procedures.
  • Serve as a key liaison with sponsors, CROs, monitors, IRBs, labs, and clinical teams.
  • Support investigators and staff in ensuring successful study execution.
  • Ensure timely reporting of adverse and serious adverse events per protocol.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ALCOA principles.
