About The Position

Centurion is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide care at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The position is 16 hours per week, with flexible scheduling Monday through Friday. Under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist, the practitioner provides mental health and psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver mental health services in a correctional setting.

Centurion contracts with state and local governments to provide healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Missouri license.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
• Experience in a correctional or institutional setting is preferred.
