Thriveworks is seeking a licensed and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who lives in the state where they will practice. This part-time, fee-for-service W2 position provides mental health care through telemedicine to a diverse client population, primarily adults and adolescents, with a willingness to treat clients age 14 and older. Common conditions include depression, anxiety, and ADHD. The stated annual compensation range is $65,000–$94,000, based on 15–20 clinical hours per week. Clinicians conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations, develop care plans with clients, and prescribe medication as clinically appropriate. Prescribing decisions are left to the clinician. Thriveworks does not treat substance use disorders and makes efforts to refer clients to in-person providers when symptoms are too severe for telemedicine. Clinicians complete in-house training and a brief exam on ADHD treatment standards; new hires enroll in the ADHD Clinic and are expected to accept and treat ADHD clients, with no client or prescription quotas. Thriveworks describes itself as a clinician-founded and clinician-led mental health provider with more than 340 locations and a nationwide hybrid care model. It serves over 175,000 clients annually through more than 1.7 million sessions. The organization offers clinical support, professional development, and a team community.
