About The Position

Mindify Wellness and Care is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to provide psychiatric services at a partner adult day care center in Toms River, New Jersey, and through telehealth. Onsite availability in Toms River is required; this is a hybrid position and is not fully remote. The role offers an established patient caseload, ongoing referrals, administrative and clinical support, and flexible scheduling based on provider availability and patient needs. Onsite coverage is generally needed 1–3 days per week. The partner center typically operates Monday through Friday, with usual hours of 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Telehealth appointments may be scheduled on onsite days or additional days. Compensation is $70–$90 per completed initial psychiatric evaluation and $40–$60 per completed follow-up medication-management visit. Rates depend on experience, credentials, qualifications, and clinical expertise. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Mindify provides patient referrals, administrative scheduling support, malpractice insurance, and a collaborative agreement for services provided to Mindify patients. Malpractice coverage and the collaborative agreement apply only while actively contracted with Mindify and do not extend to outside employment or private practice. Part-time or full-time W-2 opportunities may be considered in the future based on organizational needs and mutual interest. The practitioner will evaluate and treat psychiatric and behavioral health conditions, manage medications, develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and document care. The role includes coordination with therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, as well as patient and family education and risk assessment.
