Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP-BC)
About The Position
Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking multiple New Jersey-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP-BC) to provide psychiatric services to patients across South Jersey. Initially, these roles will be remote telehealth positions. As Mindify expands its partnerships with community organizations, there may be opportunities to offer onsite services and transition to a hybrid schedule. Specific onsite details are not yet established and would be discussed based on provider availability and partner needs. Providers can set their own telehealth schedules based on availability and patient needs. While onsite work is not a current requirement, candidates interested in future onsite opportunities in South Jersey are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
- Active New Jersey RN license
- Active New Jersey APRN license
- Current PMHNP-BC certification
- Active DEA registration with prescriptive authority
- Ability to provide telehealth services to patients located in New Jersey

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
- Diagnose behavioral health conditions using DSM-5-TR criteria
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Develop and update treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and side effects
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Collaborate with therapists, social workers, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
- Conduct risk assessments and crisis evaluations when clinically appropriate
- Follow HIPAA requirements, clinical standards, and organizational policies
