About The Position

Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking multiple New Jersey-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP-BC) to deliver psychiatric services via telehealth and at our affiliated adult day centers. We have openings in Asbury Park, Newark, East Orange, and Elizabeth. Providers have the flexibility to choose one or more locations based on their availability, and we welcome those who can commit to a single center as well as those interested in covering multiple sites.

Requirements

Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
Active New Jersey RN license
Active New Jersey APRN license
Current PMHNP-BC certification
Active DEA registration with prescriptive authority
Availability to provide onsite care at one or more partner locations

Nice To Haves

Experience in outpatient behavioral health, telehealth, adult day centers, or working with diverse populations is preferred.
Bilingual providers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
Diagnose behavioral health conditions using DSM-5-TR criteria
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
Develop and update treatment plans
Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and side effects
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Collaborate with therapists, social workers, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
Conduct risk assessments and crisis evaluations when clinically appropriate
Follow HIPAA requirements, clinical standards, and organizational policies
