About The Position
We are seeking licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to conduct online clinical assessments and manage psychotropic medications. The role offers full autonomy over work schedules, steady client referrals, and administrative support, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. Work is 100% remote, with virtual care provided from a compliant home office. Scheduling may be part-time or full-time, and compensation is hourly with dependable pay schedules. The organization provides an integrated electronic health records platform and administrative specialists who handle patient intake, licensing updates, and billing operations. Clinicians conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop and manage treatment plans, document care, and provide supportive guidance and education to patients.
Requirements
- Current ANCC or AANP Board Certification as a PMHNP.
- Active, unencumbered APRN/RN state license.
- Valid DEA registration and state prescriptive privileges.
- Active NPI number.
- Reliable high-speed internet.
- A confidential, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive telehealth psychiatric evaluations, mental status examinations, and client risk evaluations.
- Develop tailored, evidence-based psychopharmacological treatment plans and manage ongoing prescriptions.
- Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic health records system.
- Offer supportive psychotherapeutic guidance and patient education concerning medication adherence and mental health.
