Psychiatry - Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join its Champaign Psychiatry team. The position is in an outpatient, adult-only practice and works with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, psychologists, and master’s-level therapists. The nurse practitioner handles a moderate range of patient cases, including new-patient consultations, medication management, and counseling services, with weekly collaboration with a psychiatrist. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; some evening and weekend hours may be possible. The Patient Advisory System handles after-hours calls. The role requires a master’s degree in nursing, two years of APP experience, a current Illinois registered nurse license, advanced practice nurse licensure, psychiatric certification, and mental health assessment experience. Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills are also required. Compensation is $68.75–$89.37 per hour, and Carle Health offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing.
