About The Position

CHE Behavioral Health Services is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide adult and geriatric mental health services at partnered facilities near Austell, Georgia. CHE has served more than 100,000 patients across more than 800 facilities in 11 or more states since 1995. The PMHNP conducts psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits, develops and evaluates treatment plans, and prescribes and manages psychotropic medications. The role collaborates with an integrated care team and consults on complex or unusual clinical cases. CHE provides an AI scribe to draft session notes and offers flexible scheduling options, including a stated Monday–Friday scheduling window of 7 AM–7 PM. The position has no nights, weekends, or on-call duties and offers a consistent caseload.

Requirements

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Psychiatric/Mental Health.
ANCC PMHNP certification.
Active DEA license in the state of practice.
Experience in psychotropic medication management.
At least 2 years of experience; Family Nurse Practitioners with 3–5 years of psychiatric experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
Collaborate with an integrated care team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, and nursing staff.
Distinguish and diagnose psychological versus physiological disorders.
Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases.
