About The Position

CHE Behavioral Health Services is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide adult and geriatric mental health care in partnered facilities near Sandy Springs, Georgia. CHE has served patients across facilities in multiple states since 1995. The role offers a consistent caseload and the option to create a schedule within Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM. There are no nights, weekends, or on-call duties. An AI scribe drafts session notes to reduce after-hours charting so clinicians can focus on patient care. The PMHNP conducts psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits, develops and evaluates treatment plans, and prescribes and manages psychotropic medications. The role collaborates with an integrated care team and consults on complex or unusual clinical cases. Requirements

MSN in Psychiatric/Mental Health.
ANCC PMHNP certification.
Active DEA license in the state of practice.
Experience in psychotropic medication management.
At least 2 years of experience; Family Nurse Practitioners with 3–5 years of psychiatric experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
Collaborate with an integrated care team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, and nursing staff.
Distinguish and diagnose psychological versus physiological disorders.
Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases.
