About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing team at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This full-time position involves inpatient consult-liaison psychiatry, providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning for patients admitted to the medical hospital who require behavioral health services. The role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment with an experienced multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
Requirements
- Board Certified PMHNPs (PMHNP-BC)
- Certified Physician Assistants (PA-C) with CAQ-Psych or psychiatric experience
- Experienced inpatient psychiatric providers
- New graduates with strong psychiatric clinical rotations and psychiatric RN experience
- Comfortable working in hospital-based settings
- Passionate about treating adults with acute psychiatric conditions
- Team-oriented and patient-focused
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations for patients admitted to the medical hospital requiring behavioral health services.
- Perform medication management for these patients.
- Collaborate on treatment planning with an experienced multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and case management teams.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Assist with care coordination and discharge planning.
