Are you an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) looking for a flexible PRN opportunity in the Jacksonville, Florida area? Ally Psychiatry is growing and is seeking compassionate, patient-focused Advanced Practice Providers to provide inpatient psychiatric care across our Jacksonville market. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced behavioral health providers seeking PRN coverage while working alongside a seasoned team in a collaborative, physician-led organization.
Requirements
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience
- Active Florida license or eligibility for Florida licensure
- Florida DEA or ability to obtain
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care
Nice To Haves
- Experience in inpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, or acute mental health preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage psychiatric medications and monitor treatment response
- Participate in daily inpatient rounding
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nursing staff, and hospital teams
- Provide evidence-based psychiatric care in an inpatient behavioral health setting
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation
