About The Position

Lenape Valley Foundation is hiring a full-time Psychiatric Assistant to support doctors who provide mental health services to the Bucks County community. The position works Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and focuses primarily on phone-based support, scheduling, and assisting clients with medication-related questions and processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Comfort engaging in phone-based communication for most of the workday.
Compassion for clients.
Organization skills and strong attention to detail.
Computer proficiency.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in a medical setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Answer scheduling calls and respond to questions or concerns about medications.
Understand insurance requirements to schedule clients with the appropriate prescribers.
Provide superior customer service in responding to client requests.
Address billing warnings and insurance coverage issues.
Educate clients about refill policies and how to access the refill clinic.
Enter information into electronic medical records.
Communicate effectively with clinical and billing teams.
Maintain voicemail.
