About The Position

Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a new, state-of-the-art facility serving up to 96 adult and geriatric patients across four units. The hospital is a joint venture with Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services. The Registered Nurse coordinates and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, following the nursing process and applicable standards of care and practice. The RN also oversees and directs Mental Health Technicians on the unit to support patient safety and meet patient needs.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
Hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary team.
Provide care in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practice.
Oversee and direct Mental Health Technicians on the unit to address patient safety and needs.
