PSI Service Technician - Rental Tools
About The Position
The PSI Service Technician coordinates and supervises the safe and efficient rigging up and operation of applicable equipment on rigs. The role has management authority and responsibility for controlling field operations and supervises subordinate employees or contractors in location operations. The technician implements company policies and procedures and oversees equipment maintenance on the rig. Duties include preparing and mobilizing tools, conducting periodic inspections, and filing pertinent reports. The technician may perform all duties on location when necessary, serves as a liaison between the company and the customer representative, and assists Specialists, Supervisors, and other Service Assistants. The role also involves participating in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) discussions, identifying safety hazards, rigging up and maintaining equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and ensuring tools are in good working order before use. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities

- Supervise subordinate employees or contractors in location operations and control field operations.
- Implement company policies and procedures and maintain equipment on the rig.
- Prepare and mobilize tools, conduct periodic tool inspections, and file pertinent reports.
- Perform all duties on location when necessary.
- Act as a liaison between the company and the customer representative.
- Assist Specialists, Supervisors, and other Service Assistants.
- Participate in JSA discussions and identify safety hazards.
- Rig up, maintain, clean, and inspect equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order before use.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
