This role coordinates and supervises the rigging up and running of applicable equipment on rigs safely and efficiently. The PSI Service Technician reports directly to the District/Location Manager and holds management authority and responsibility for control over field operations. This position successfully supervises subordinate employees or contractors in the location's operations. Key responsibilities include implementing company policies, procedures, and maintaining equipment on the rig. The role involves the preparation and mobilization of tools, periodic tool inspections, and filing of all pertinent reports. The technician must be able to perform all duties on location if necessary and acts as a liaison between the company and the customer representative. They provide assistance to Specialists, Supervisors, and other Service Assistants, and participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) discussions to identify safety hazards. Responsibilities also include rigging up and maintaining equipment on location, helping to clean and maintain equipment, and inspecting tools prior to use to ensure they are in good working order. Other duties may be assigned.
