The role works with OA OIT staff and the GGDC Project Manager to shape the portal’s user interface and technical architecture, coordinate requirements, and manage development risks and status. The developer serves as lead programmer and lead testing contact for the web application, including developing and executing test cases and remediating bugs and other deficiencies. This is a mid-level to senior-level application development role requiring 5+ years of professional experience with web application technologies. • Experience with front-end styling or UI frameworks such as CSS, Bootstrap, or Tailwind to enhance Blazor interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual front-end design documents, such as wireframes or UI mockups, in coordination with OA OIT staff to meet Keystone Design System requirements.
  • Develop back-end technical documents, such as data dictionaries, entity relationship diagrams, and other architectural documents.
  • Serve as lead programmer for the PSE SLDS Portal web application.
  • Coordinate with OA OIT staff to identify network, database, application, and other technical requirements and specifications.
  • Coordinate with the GGDC Project Manager and other staff to identify status, risks, obstacles, and other items that may affect the PSE SLDS Portal development roadmap.
  • Serve as the lead testing contact for the PSE SLDS Portal web application; develop and perform test cases, and remediate identified system bugs and other deficiencies.
