About The Position

DHL Express is seeking a Maintenance Technical Specialist for their CVG Hub in Erlanger, Kentucky. This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of material handling equipment (MHE) and all associated equipment within the hub. Requirements

Proficient in reading and comprehending electrical connection diagrams and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and a self-starter with a positive attitude.
Fluent English.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, frequently at times.
Must be able to lift up to 70lbs regularly.
Must be able to work in hot and cold environments to include inclement weather.
Must be able to stand for long durations.
Required to wear 100% cotton uniforms at all times.
Required to wear safety toe boots at all times.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ASi systems, Profibus networks, and Siemens PLCs.
General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Working knowledge of a (CMMS) computerized maintenance management systems (specifically Maximo).
Specific skills pertaining to metal fabrication, welding, torches, rigging, etc.
Working knowledge relating to the daily use of HMI and GDU applications.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment including tilt tray sorters, feeder components, conveyors, scales, scanners, cameras, and variable frequency drives.
Read and comprehend electrical connection diagrams and schematics.
Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers.
Occasionally operate forklifts, scissor lifts, snorkel/boom lifts, pallet jacks, and small conveyance vehicles.
Wear applicable personal protective equipment, including arc flash protection gear, and follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Complete job-specific tasks related to facilities maintenance, including high-speed overhead doors, lighting, general power distribution, high voltage electric monitoring, water distribution and sewage management, HVAC, low pressure boilers, dock levelers, fire protection systems, and generators.
