About The Position

The Provider Services Educational and Communications Professional (Contract Tools, Educations, Processes Professional 2) assists with developing and implementing education and communication materials for external and internal stakeholders. The role manages a content management system used to organize and store materials. It is a remote position, located in Virginia or within 20 miles of the state, with occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Associate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 3 years of marketing and communications experience, including drafting content for resources, educational materials, and/or trainings.
Experience with provider relations, provider communications and education, and/or related health plan operations.
Familiarity with learning design principles and demonstrated application of those principles to create easy-to-read and engaging provider training and educational materials.
Template design experience.
Demonstrated experience writing educational materials.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
SharePoint experience.
Project management experience.
Experience working in Medicaid or government healthcare.
Understanding of health plan operations and adherence to state requirements.
Experience operating in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain external-facing materials, including educational content, templates, memos, and web updates.
Collaborate across departments to update annual provider educational resources to meet state contracted requirements.
Meet regularly with project teams to understand training, education, and support needs and help ensure an aligned segment strategy and approach.
Document policies, processes, and technical information in clear, audience-appropriate content.
Track participation, engagement, and effectiveness of training and communication initiatives.
Manage a content management system for organizing and storing materials.
