About The Position

The Provider Programs Specialist works in the Provider Network Performance department, collaborating with teams throughout the organization to plan, organize, and implement programs and communications within the provider network. The role develops strategic communications plans, messaging, and communication tactics for internal and external audiences to support provider performance on strategic initiatives. Under general direction, the specialist manages multiple projects and tasks, coordinates provider communication requests, prepares written materials, and leads communication activities such as provider-facing webinars and events. The position also participates in appropriate safety initiatives and risk-mitigation measures, completes safety-related competencies and requirements on time, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Obtain either the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential from the American Academy of Professional Coders or the Coding Specialist (CCS) credential from AHIMA within 180 days; listed for Risk Adjustment only.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety initiatives and appropriate risk-mitigation measures, and complete position- and unit-related safety competencies and requirements on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
