About The Position

The role reports to the Director, Provider Relations of Your Hearing Network (YHN). The role of Provider Network Business Development Specialist for Your Hearing Network is a strategic role that plays a crucial part in ensuring our members have access to high-quality hearing care services. This role specializes in contacting providers to enroll in Your Hearing Network. It involves strong recruitment skillset, sales acumen, cold calling and good record keeping contributing to successful network expansion. This position focuses on finding and introducing providers to expand the network while ensuring that existing providers are well-supported and meet the company's NCQA quality standards. The Provider Network Business Development Specialist will identify potential providers, engage and sell them on joining YHN, facilitate the onboarding process, and work to ensure appropriate growth and retention of the network. Additionally, the role will work closely with the Credentialing team to ensure proper documentation is received to credential providers into the network and ensure proper compliance with company policies, NCQA standards, and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years’ experience preferred in provider recruitment sales.
  • Skillset on hunting and cold calling on potential providers.
  • Familiarity with managed care principles is valuable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Individual should possess a strong sales focus.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, managing change well, and being flexible to environment and business needs.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond daily to achieve best-in-class results.
  • Ability to work with highly detailed, complex, and emotionally sensitive information.

  • Reliable and secure Internet Service Provider at home (no public WiFi) for duration of working hours
  • Sufficient room to set up a laptop, monitors, keyboard and mouse
  • Comfortable space to work for duration of working hours
  • Quiet, private and secure space in which to work

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with software used for network growth is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Able to search and uncover potential hearing care providers not yet in network, through various online sources and tools.
  • Build a pipeline of providers not yet in network entering in SalesForce.
  • Present and pitch the benefits of joining the hearing network to prospective providers through cold calling and emailing.
  • Secure contracts with providers to credential in network.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the network in targeted geographic areas.
  • Focus on closing gaps in current network and driving strong reach into rural areas.
  • State by State - review of network, along with key strategies of provider acquisition required of this role.
  • Conduct market research to identify gaps in the network and areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align recruitment efforts with company goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective providers.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for providers during the onboarding process.
  • Address provider concerns and ensure a positive experience throughout their partnership with the network.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, ability to sort through information, make strategic decisions, and keep team informed of changes are all important components of competence.
  • Work with credentialing team to ensure all recruited providers meet the NCQA credentialing and quality standards.
  • Track and report recruitment activities, providing regular updates to management.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
