About The Position

Are you looking to launch a career in sales with a company that will invest in your development? As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective customers, and creating qualified sales opportunities for our Territory Account Managers. You'll learn the fundamentals of industrial and technical sales while gaining exposure to manufacturing, engineering, and customer relationship management. This role is designed for someone who is motivated, curious, and excited about building a long-term career in sales. You'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow into more advanced sales roles, including Territory Account Manager. What You'll Do Generate New Business Opportunities Research prospective customers, industries, and target markets. Identify and engage potential customers through phone calls, email campaigns, networking, and social media outreach. Qualify leads and uncover customer needs, challenges, and opportunities. Schedule meetings and introductions for Territory Account Managers. Build Relationships Initiate conversations with engineers, buyers, operations leaders, and decision-makers. Develop professional relationships with prospective customers and industry contacts. Represent Sealing Devices professionally in all interactions. Support Sales Growth Assist in developing target account strategies and prospecting plans. Maintain accurate prospect and customer information within CRM systems. Support sales campaigns, trade shows, customer events, and marketing initiatives. Collaborate with Territory Account Managers to identify growth opportunities. Learn the Business Develop knowledge of Sealing Devices' products, fabrication capabilities, services, and target industries. Gain exposure to technical sales processes, customer presentations, and account management strategies. Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development programs. What You'll Bring Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Internship, customer service, sales, recruiting, or business development experience is a plus. Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Business Development Specialist Qualifications and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Business, Sales or Technical Discipline or related field required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or Technical Discipline, or related field preferred. At least 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, customer service.
