About The Position

Nammo Defense Systems, Inc. is seeking a Proposals Manager to oversee and coordinate all proposal activities. This role involves managing proposal and cost estimating personnel, adhering to schedules and deadlines, developing compliance matrices, and ensuring smooth coordination with Contracts, Program Management, and Pricing departments. The company is the primary USA operation of the Nammo Group and specializes in developing, manufacturing, and supporting various defense and aerospace solutions.

Requirements

8 or more years of direct working experience with proposals and pricing to the DoD, US Government, and international customers.
Excellent experience of Word and Excel is required.
Excellent writing and proofreading skills are required.
Must be able to provide proof of US Persons and ability to clear ATF background check.

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred.
Contracts, contract management, proposal management or experience with FAR’s is desired.
Pricing and familiarity with DoD requirements (Rates, ODC, etc.) is desired.
Experience with ProPricer is desired.

Responsibilities

Lead the proposal development process from beginning to end, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and compliant submissions to customer RFPs.
Review and analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other solicitation documents to identify key requirements, evaluation criteria, and proposal response instructions.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to gather relevant information and input for proposals.
Create proposal outlines and schedules and manage the proposal development timeline to meet submission deadlines.
Write, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with customer requirements.
Assist the Sales and Marketing Team in managing and directing all proposal efforts.
Coordinate and participate in Bid/No-Bid decisions.
Respond/coordinate all RFI, Sources Sought, ROM and other customer inquiries.
Participate in the development and review of proposal strategies and continuous improvement of the proposal process.
Conduct regular proposal progress status meetings and maintain the proposal schedule.
Direct writing/editing/rewriting efforts, as needed.
Coordinate pricing efforts.
Conduct final quality assurance checks on proposals to ensure compliance with all requirements and submission guidelines.
Respond/coordinate customer proposal and pricing inquiries such as cost justifications and clarifications.
Develop and report on proposal metrics.
Establish and manage the proposal budgets.
Provide weekly reporting on proposal status.
Manage 3 direct reports.
Follow standard practices and safety procedures.
Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
