About The Position

The Proposal Manager facilitates the management and procurement of plan designs and pricing proposals from carrier partners. The role analyzes insurance policies from multiple carriers and defines the differences between them. It also supports the Sales Team in understanding carrier products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Firm understanding of the Group Insurance market.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good organizational, time-management, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strategic product positioning and financial analysis.
• Cross-functional collaboration with teams.
• Contract negotiation and client presentations.
• Medicare regulatory expertise.
• Adaptability and leadership.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of experience in proposals or insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all documents from carriers.
• Manage all open quote requests.
• Serve as the point of contact with carriers on open quotes.
• Manage the renewal process.
• Manage the creation of proposal documents.
• Secure pricing from carriers for open quotes.
• Secure pricing from carriers for renewal quotes.
• Help the Sales Team understand products provided by carriers.
• Analyze insurance policies from multiple carriers and define the differences between them.
