About The Position

Kearfott Corporation is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead assigned customer proposals and quotation responses across its Guidance & Navigation and Motion Systems divisions. Working with Business Development, capture leads, and contributors throughout the company, the Proposal Manager turns customer requirements, pursuit strategy, win themes, and technical and commercial inputs into clear, compliant, persuasive submissions. The role owns the quality and execution of assigned responses and reports to the Proposal Management Lead, who oversees the organization-wide proposal process and review cadence. Business Development and capture leads retain ownership of pursuit strategy and bid/no-bid decisions. The position leads responses from kickoff through submission and post-submission follow-up, coordinates cross-functional inputs, and ensures proposal content is accurate, consistent, customer-focused, and aligned with response strategy. The Proposal Manager uses Awarded.ai and other company-approved AI capabilities where appropriate, validates AI-assisted work, and follows company information-handling requirements. This position is located at Kearfott’s Black Mountain, North Carolina facility.
