About The Position

You will be the Proposal and Affordability Lead for the Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP) and Infrared Search and Track (IRST) Programs within the Sensors & Global Sustainment (S&GS) Line of Business. Our team is responsible for leading the proposal and affordability program across these advanced sensor initiatives. As the Proposal and Affordability Lead you will be responsible for shaping strategy, guiding execution, and ensuring alignment with government regulations and program commitments. This role offers the opportunity to influence major defense programs, work with cutting-edge technology, and make a tangible impact on national security. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), with experience applying these regulations in a procurement or acquisition environment
  • Working knowledge of standard contract types, FAR proposal compliance and price / cost analysis
  • Team oriented with demonstrated organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal, written & presentation communication skills
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and overseeing GSC proposal activities, ensuring timely, compliant submissions.
  • Developing supplier RFP templates and leading central procurement proposal kick‑off meetings.
  • Coordinating cost analysis, commercial item determinations, and negotiation strategies.
  • Managing the affordability pipeline and creating step‑down plans to meet program targets.
  • Collaborating with program management, customers, and internal stakeholders to drive results.
