About The Position

The Property Manager coordinates resources to effectively manage the community and accomplish objectives established by management. The role oversees leasing and maintenance operations, supervises staff, enforces safety and OSHA requirements, monitors community performance, supports resident service, assists with budgeting, and obtains bids for repair or replacement work beyond staff capabilities. The position profile describes key responsibilities and expectations but does not encompass every task; the employee may be assigned other reasonable job-related duties by their supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of practical experience in the industry or in a position with similar responsibilities.
• Leadership skills and understanding of effective management of personal development and career paths.
• Ability to communicate effectively and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise leasing and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with operational policies and a 24-hour turnaround time for service requests.
• Supervise staff, including training, performance reviews, hiring, promotion, and termination.
• Support personal development and career-path management.
• Enforce safety policies, regulations, and OSHA compliance.
• Analyze performance and trends to market the community.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining high standards for resident service.
• Assist with budget preparation and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Secure bids for repair and replacement work beyond staff capabilities.
• Perform other job-related duties reasonably assigned by the supervisor.
