Multifamily Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. This role ensures the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment, overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The role also involves providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Additionally, the Property Manager will develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover. Driving revenues through thorough analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs is also a key responsibility. The role requires leading by example, instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission. The Property Manager will supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, and maintain an effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching. They will also maintain residents' files, ensure a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution, and manage the community budget and finances. Collaboration with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals is essential.
