About The Position

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property & Casualty (P&C) Manager to join a well-established, family-owned insurance agency. With a long-standing reputation for excellence and strong carrier relationships, the agency offers a small-agency feel while providing comprehensive insurance solutions in Personal Lines (PL) and Small Business Commercial Lines (CL).

Requirements

Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an independent insurance agency.
Experience with billing, accounting, and Excess & Surplus (E&S) lines is essential.
Proven ability to manage and lead a team, with a strong focus on mentorship and team development.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
A customer-focused mindset and the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.

Nice To Haves

Additional designations are a plus.
Proficiency in AMS360 software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage employees in Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and back-office operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
Provide leadership and support to a team.
Assist with servicing and sales as needed, particularly for walk-in clients.
Manage carrier relationships, billing, and accounting processes.
Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Support the quoting and renewal process for new and existing business when necessary.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional growth and development among team members.
