About The Position

Distinguished is seeking an experienced Project Manager with P&C Insurance knowledge to join their Business Operations Team. This role will manage a broad portfolio of projects, including Mergers and Acquisitions, to support business growth. The Project Manager will work directly with business leaders, IT, Operations, vendors, and offshore resources in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs within the Property & Casualty insurance industry
  • Strong command of the project lifecycle, including scope, timeline, risk mitigation, and delivery accountability
  • Demonstrated success influencing without authority and driving alignment across senior stakeholders
  • Strategic, analytical thinker able to translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans in a fast‑paced environment
  • Highly organized and self‑directed, with experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level reporting and facilitation

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
  • Mergers and Acquisitions experience highly desirable
  • Limited Travel may be requested

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end execution and implementation of organizational initiatives, driving project delivery, issues resolution, and achievement of defined outcomes
  • Tailor communication and engagement strategies that meet stakeholder needs, ensuring timely and clear information for leaders and project teams
  • Build and maintain credibility, trust, and strong relationships across the organization
  • Partner with leaders to stand up new teams, integrate them into the organization, gain alignment on scope and outcomes, and guide product implementation within the enterprise ecosystem
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues, manage dependencies, and achieve defined outcomes
  • Utilize standardized tools and best practices to promote consistency, continuous improvement, and efficiency
