About The Position

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is looking for a Property and Asset Management Analyst to join their team in McClellan, CA. This A2 level position will serve as a Government / Customer Property Administrator (PAO) for select programs. The primary role involves supporting contractual compliance with Government Property terms, including acquisition, receiving, records, physical inventorying, reporting, subcontractor control, utilization, maintenance, relief of stewardship, and property closeout, adhering to FAR 52.245-1 and Northrop Grumman's Principles and Operating Practices (PrOP). This role requires collaboration with program offices, maintaining property accountability records, determining the condition and arranging disposal of surplus or obsolete material/equipment, conducting property assessments, providing guidance on property life-cycle management, developing and implementing property management policy, and preparing reports. The position also involves liaison with the customer and reporting to the Government Property homeroom and program office personnel. The successful candidate will be able to learn and contribute individually and as part of a team, with an interest in industry trends and best practices in Government and Customer Property management. This position is located at the Sacramento (McClellan) facility as an in-office position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 2 years’ experience in Property/Asset Management or related field (i.e. logistics, auditor/assessor, supply chain, contracts, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
  • Experience operating hand pallet jack
  • Experience operating basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A current/active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor’s or higher-level Degree(s)
  • Experience in Government Property/Asset Management
  • Forklift experience
  • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support contractual compliance to the Government Property terms of contracts, including acquisition, receiving, records, physical inventorying, reporting, subcontractor control, utilization, maintenance, relief of stewardship, and property closeout.
  • Utilize program unique systems / tools / software.
  • Maintain property accountability records.
  • Determine condition and arrange disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
  • Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes.
  • Provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement property management policy.
  • Prepare periodic and special purpose reports.
  • Liaise with the ultimate customer and report back to the Government Property homeroom and related program office personnel.
