About The Position

As an Inside Property Adjuster - Trainee in the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) area, you will provide exceptional service to policyholders in a hybrid work environment. Your primary responsibilities will include virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately. You will interact with customers, contractors, and vendors using software platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration via voice calls, email, and text messages. This role has a specific focus on water losses, ensuring customers receive the highest level of support and resolution for these claims. You will act as a Customer Service Expert, Investigator, Effective Communicator, Negotiator, Problem Solver, and Recorder, embodying Allstate's Claims Culture of caring, empowering, and restoring with empathy, clarity, and commitment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of previous customer service experience required
  • Residency within the posted location (Dallas Fort Worth, TX) is mandatory
  • Ability to assess property damages and accurately determine claim coverage
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions
  • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, along with appropriate desk and seating when working from home
  • Reliable internet is required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload

Nice To Haves

  • Previous industry experience is highly desired
  • Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments is preferred
