About The Position

As an Inside Property Adjuster Trainee in a hybrid environment, you will provide exceptional service to policyholders by virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately. You will interact with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration via voice calls, email, and text messages. This role has a particular focus on water losses. You will act as a Customer Service Expert, Investigator, Effective Communicator, Negotiator, Problem Solver, and Recorder, ensuring compassionate, clear, and committed claim handling with empathy, detailed damage reviews, policy interpretation, clear communication, negotiation of settlements, utilization of multiple tools, and accurate documentation in a claims system.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of previous customer service experience required
  • Residency within the posted location is mandatory for this role
  • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, along with appropriate desk and seating when working from home
  • Reliable internet is required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload

Nice To Haves

  • Previous industry experience is highly desired
  • Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments is preferred
  • Ability to assess property damages and accurately determine claim coverage
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely
