About The Position

Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join its team at the Shelby, North Carolina customer service center. Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree.
• CDL Class A or B, or willingness to obtain one within the first year of employment in the position.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Hazmat and tanker endorsement.
• Two to three years of propane or oil service experience; HVAC experience is also noted.

Responsibilities

• Provide propane service and install tanks.
• Identify and correct leaks from the tank to the equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform maintenance on spare tanks located at plants to prepare them for service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Communicate proactively with the District Manager, Service Coordinator, sales representatives, drivers, and customers as necessary.
