About The Position

Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced Service Technician for its Orangeburg, South Carolina customer service center. The role involves propane service and tank installation, identifying and correcting leaks, responding to customer emergencies, and maintaining, inspecting, and repairing propane tanks. The technician communicates proactively with the District Manager, Service Coordinator, sales representatives, drivers, and customers. Evening and weekend on-call rotation is required as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree.
• CDL Class A or B, or willingness to obtain one within the first year of employment in the position.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Hazmat/Tanker endorsement.
• 2–3 years of propane or oil service experience; HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide propane service and install tanks.
• Identify and correct leaks from the tank to the equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform maintenance on spare tanks located at plants in preparation for placing them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Communicate proactively with the District Manager, Service Coordinator, sales representatives, drivers, and customers as necessary.
