About The Position

The Propane Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating a vehicle and completing propane delivery-related duties. The driver completes required daily paperwork, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms, and enters and logs driving data in the on-board computer. The driver maintains a clean vehicle and ensures equipment is properly stored and serviced. The role also requires courteous customer interactions, compliance with road rules, safe and incident-free operations, and prompt reporting of unsafe conditions or practices to the Propane Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Valid CDL B at minimum.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age according to DOT requirements.
• Ability to perform and meet the physical demands of the role.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of industry experience is preferred; new CDL graduates with the required endorsements will also be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Complete required paperwork, including daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms.
• Enter and log all driving data into the on-board computer.
• Keep the vehicle clean and ensure equipment is properly stored and serviced.
• Be friendly and courteous to customers while operating the vehicle and follow the rules of the road.
• Perform all duties safely to ensure incident-free operations.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or practices to the Propane Operations Manager.
