About The Position

Fuscoe Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to support its Irvine office. The role contributes to land development projects and involves preparing and overseeing a range of subdivision mapping and survey matters, coordinating with engineering Project Managers, monitoring budgets and schedules, and setting up and executing mapping tasks. The position works within a collaborative team that values innovation, mentorship, continuous learning, and open communication.

Requirements

• Two years of general survey and mapping education and up to six years or more of experience, or an equivalent combination of college education and design experience in land boundary and titles.
• At least two years of independently solving complex mapping or engineering problems.
• A Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of California.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, oversee, and process subdivision maps, records of survey, ALTA surveys, lot line adjustments, legal descriptions, condominium plans, and other related subdivision and survey matters.
• Monitor budgets and schedules, and coordinate with engineering Project Managers.
• Prepare project approaches, set up mapping tasks, and execute them.
