Reporting to the Associate Director for Research Programs within the Department's Research Division, the Project Support Specialist will provide administrative and operational support that enables faculty scholarship, academic advancement, and research compliance activities. This position serves as a central resource for faculty by coordinating scholarship-related processes, facilitating research administration and compliance requirements, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of scholarly work. The project support specialist works collaboratively with faculty, departmental leaders, research administration staff, and institutional partners to streamline administrative processes, support scholarly productivity, and reduce barriers to faculty participation in research and academic activities. While available as a resource to all departmental faculty, this position plays a particularly important role in supporting early-career faculty and physicians who pursue scholarship and publication activities without extensive research support infrastructure. The specialist serves as a departmental subject matter resource for Emory Insight, Emory University's enterprise research administration system. The position assists faculty with research-related administrative and compliance processes managed through the platform, including disclosures, regulatory documentation, and other research support activities.
