Reporting to the Associate Director of Programs (for faculty advancement & engagement), the Senior Program Coordinator serves as a faculty advancement specialist focused on promoting faculty recognition, reputation, and professional visibility. This position develops and coordinates programs, processes, and initiatives that elevate faculty accomplishments and increase awareness of faculty contributions across patient care, education, scholarship, leadership, and service. The Senior Program Coordinator serves as a central resource for awards, honors, recognition programs, spotlighting initiatives, and faculty visibility efforts, partnering closely with faculty members, division leaders, departmental leadership, and communications professionals to identify opportunities and maximize faculty recognition. The Senior Program Coordinator proactively supports faculty nominations and applications for awards, distinctions, leadership opportunities, and professional recognition programs. The position also develops systems to track faculty accomplishments, maintain recognition pipelines, identify nomination opportunities, and promote faculty achievements through a variety of internal and external channels. Working collaboratively with faculty, leadership, and institutional partners, this role helps strengthen the Department's culture of appreciation and recognition while advancing faculty success and enhancing the Department's academic reputation.
