Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3–5+ years of relevant planning and scheduling experience, with industrial construction experience strongly preferred
  • Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6
  • Solid command of CPM scheduling, EVM practices, and schedule risk analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to translate complex schedule data for diverse audiences
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with strong time management and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite at the project location in Baldwin County, AL

Responsibilities

  • Lead all planning and scheduling efforts using Primavera P6, serving as the scheduling authority for assigned projects
  • Develop and manage proposal schedules, field installation project schedules, and shop fabrication master schedules
  • Establish and maintain schedule baselines; proactively identify and communicate variances to the project team and stakeholders
  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track performance and forecast project outcomes
  • Create, manage, and control a master manpower schedule aligned with project needs
  • Monitor and control progress against completion milestones, flagging risks early and driving corrective action
  • Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to identify float, constraints, and schedule risks
  • Conduct analytical reviews of project data using Microsoft Excel, translating data into actionable insights
  • Deliver routine schedule reporting at both the client and company levels, tailoring content to your audience
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Field Superintendents, and Estimating teams to ensure schedule accuracy reflects field reality
  • Apply deep knowledge of construction logic and sequencing to build realistic, executable schedules
