Project Scheduler (P6)
About The Position
UDR is seeking a Project Scheduler (P6) to work on-site at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The position trains maintenance personnel to use Oracle Primavera P6 effectively for planning and scheduling work across multiple timeframes. The scheduler develops and manages the Plan of the Day, Plan of the Week, and Plan of the Month to improve coordination, efficiency, and execution of maintenance work. The role supports preventive maintenance scheduling and tracking, outage planning and management, and integration of P6 practices into the existing maintenance program.
Requirements
- P6 schedule planning and production experience.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Train maintenance personnel to build, update, and maintain schedules in Oracle Primavera P6.
- Develop and manage the Plan of the Day, Plan of the Week, and Plan of the Month.
- Ensure schedules align with operational priorities and resource availability.
- Support scheduling and tracking of weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with maintenance requirements and minimizing downtime.
- Assist with scheduling, outage planning, and outage management using P6 to coordinate complex work scopes, optimize sequencing, manage resources, track execution progress, and complete outage activities efficiently.
- Integrate and institutionalize P6 scheduling practices into the maintenance program by providing guidance, standard processes, and support for long-term adoption and sustainability.
