About The Position

We are looking for a technically fluent, commercially minded Project Sales Engineer to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will serve as the technical lead and primary point of contact throughout the full project lifecycle — from initial prospecting and solution design through delivery and client handoff. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering — or equivalent professional experience
  • 2–6 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or project management, ideally within cleantech or energy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from scoping through delivery
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills; comfortable presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Must be based in the Denver Metro Area or be willing to relocate.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or CAPM certification is advantageous, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business through prospecting, site assessments, and solution design.
  • Develop detailed proposals, Bills of Materials, labor estimates, and project quotes that accurately reflect scope and technical requirements.
  • Act as project quarterback from kickoff through delivery.
  • Oversee engineering design, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and budget management to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
  • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the engagement.
  • Set clear expectations, communicate proactively, and ensure deliverables consistently meet or exceed client requirements.
  • Apply hands-on expertise in control systems, software integration, or energy technology to design solutions tailored to each client's operational environment and goals.
