About The Position

The teacher is responsible for selecting, preparing and implementing standards-aligned math, reading, and STEM lessons/activities for a class of approximately 15 students. Teachers also accompany and supervise students on field trips, plan incentive awards/parties, track attendance, and maintain communication with parents. Teachers will lead arts/crafts activities, supervise play, and participate in experiential and service learning opportunities along with students. Teachers will participate in training sessions offered by Operation Shoestring. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, motivated and creative individual who has a passion for teaching and learning, bringing joy to children, and is comfortable interacting with the broader community.
