The interventionist is responsible for providing targeted academic support to students who are struggling in reading, math, and/or other core subject areas. The role focuses on implementing small group and individualized instruction based on student data, assessments, and teacher recommendations to improve academic performance and close learning gaps. The interventionist works collaboratively with classroom teachers, instructional staff, and program leadership to develop and implement intervention strategies aligned with grade-level standards. This position includes monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate documentation of interventions, and adjusting instructional approaches based on student needs. The ideal interventionist is patient, student-centered, and skilled in delivering engaging, differentiated instruction in a supportive learning environment. Strong communication skills, consistency, and the ability to build positive relationships with students are essential to success in this role.
