About The Position

Recruit marketplace professionals to serve on Lifeshape projects to support Lifeshape’s strategic priorities to carry out the purpose and mission of the organization. This role involves building networks, increasing awareness of immigrant needs, facilitating participant matching, maintaining CRM data, preparing presentations, creating a vetting system, and attending meetings to promote and recruit for projects.

Requirements

• An evangelical believer committed to Christian service consistent with our organizational purpose and beliefs who is actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in marketing, communication, business administration, or related field.
• Strong communication skills including one-on-one conversations, small group facilitation, presentation, public speaking, and writing in a manner consistent with our organizational purpose and beliefs.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, including skill in building and maintaining a network of relationships to facilitate project recruiting.
• Strong project management skills capable of orchestrating and coordinating many tasks and functions to a successful end.
• Exceptional professionalism at all levels with the ability to anticipate needs and challenges and respond in a manner consistent with our organizational purpose and beliefs.
• Ability to work independently and as a strong team player under time pressures without loss of poise, grace, or humor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct project specific recruitment for Lifeshape and Global Neighbor projects, focusing on marketplace professionals. Build and maintain networks to expand the pool of potential participants.
• Increase awareness of immigrant needs among marketplace professionals, while promoting participation in Lifeshape’s international projects through the Global Neighbors Initiative.
• Assist the Strategic Advance team and Recruiting team in facilitating the proper matching of interested persons to projects.
• Ensure systems, processes, and tools are used effectively to inventory the passions, talents, and skills of our participants and leverage these in support of our mission and partners. This includes maintaining and updating CRM data in Salesforce.
• Support the Director of Relationships by raising awareness of and participation with Lifeshape, including preparing and delivering presentations for marketplace professionals.
• Create and maintain a vetting system that appropriately scans each participant to properly match viability for successful project participation.
• Attend meetings to promote and recruit for projects, including regional meetings.
