About The Position

The Project Quality Manager 1 is responsible for implementing the QMS to fulfill the quality mission and support the successful execution of assigned projects as described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and/or the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree in Engineering, Management, Quality, or Business.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a quality-related role.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, implements, monitors, evaluates, and maintains the project quality plan for assigned projects
  • Supports 1 large EPC project and/or several services projects simultaneously
  • Collaborates with other PQMs on projects executed by professionals in multiple locations
  • Conducts quality assessments of project procedures and documents to identify, analyze, and document non-conforming processes or products; develops and implements corrective action by comparing activities against project quality program criteria
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates project supplier and subcontractor activities, quality systems and programs, products, and reports for adherence to the QMS and/or the NQAM
  • Reviews purchase orders and associated documentation to ensure correct quality requirements are included prior to contract award
  • Identifies and assesses improvement opportunities, and ensures a resolution is determined which will meet project and/or process quality requirements
  • Assists project team members with quality processes such as CARs, PARs, lessons learned and deviations
  • Participates in development and implementation of training on QMS for assigned project personnel
  • Periodic travel will be required
  • May involve additional work hours/week
  • Acts in capacity of a "lead person" for issues related to quality.
