About The Position

The Project Quality Manager 1 is responsible for implementing the QMS to fulfill the quality mission and support the successful execution of assigned projects as described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and/or the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program.

Requirements

4 year degree in Engineering, Management, Quality, or Business.
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a quality-related role.
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Plans, develops, implements, monitors, evaluates, and maintains the project quality plan for assigned projects
Supports 1 large EPC project and/or several services projects simultaneously
Collaborates with other PQMs on projects executed by professionals in multiple locations
Conducts quality assessments of project procedures and documents to identify, analyze, and document non-conforming processes or products; develops and implements corrective action by comparing activities against project quality program criteria
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates project supplier and subcontractor activities, quality systems and programs, products, and reports for adherence to the QMS and/or the NQAM
Reviews purchase orders and associated documentation to ensure correct quality requirements are included prior to contract award
Identifies and assesses improvement opportunities, and ensures a resolution is determined which will meet project and/or process quality requirements
Assists project team members with quality processes such as CARs, PARs, lessons learned and deviations
Participates in development and implementation of training on QMS for assigned project personnel
Periodic travel will be required
May involve additional work hours/week
Acts in capacity of a "lead person" for issues related to quality.
