About The Position

Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is hiring a Project Manager II or Senior Project Manager to join its Information Services team and lead delivery across EWEB’s highly integrated, SAP-centric technology landscape. The role combines hands-on management of selected technology initiatives with portfolio planning to strengthen how the organization plans, sequences, and delivers projects, enhancements, and operational work. The Project Manager brings together functional and data analysts, developers, technical and security teams, business partners, delivery leads, and external partners to establish shared plans, clarity, accountability, and progress through challenges and dependencies. EWEB is continuing to develop its SAP-centric technology landscape, with opportunities to improve existing solutions and deliver future enterprise initiatives. The role offers autonomy to exercise professional judgment, contribute ideas, improve delivery practices, and help shape management of an evolving portfolio of technology investments. The position is based in Eugene, Oregon, with an approved hybrid arrangement combining telecommuting and onsite work. The selected candidate must live in Oregon. The recruitment may be filled at either the Project Manager II or Senior Project Manager level. A Project Manager II independently manages moderately complex projects, applying established practices with moderate supervision. A Senior Project Manager manages large, complex initiatives with minimal supervision and brings greater independence, capability in navigating complex dependencies, and a broader project and portfolio perspective. Classification is determined during the offer process based on the candidate’s experience and demonstrated capabilities. The position opens October 23, 2026, and remains open until filled; the first application review is November 9, 2026. The position requires a post-offer background check. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; EWEB cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
