About The Position

Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is hiring a Project Manager II or Senior Project Manager for its Information Services team. The role combines hands-on management of selected technology initiatives with portfolio planning across EWEB’s highly integrated, SAP-centric technology landscape. The Project Manager brings together functional and data analysts, developers, technical and security teams, business partners, project and delivery leads, and external delivery partners to establish shared plans, clarify accountability, and work through challenges and dependencies. The role leads complex technology projects from initiation through closeout and partners across Information Services to improve how projects, enhancements, and operational work are planned, sequenced, and delivered. It supports early project scoping and readiness, integrated portfolio visibility, capacity and dependency analysis, and continuous improvement of project management practices. The position offers autonomy to exercise professional judgment, contribute ideas, and develop project management, portfolio, and technology-delivery expertise. The job may be filled at either the Project Manager II or Senior Project Manager level. A Project Manager II independently manages moderately complex projects using established practices with moderate supervision. A Senior Project Manager operates with greater independence, managing large and complex initiatives with minimal supervision and bringing a broader portfolio perspective. Classification is discussed during the offer process based on experience and demonstrated capabilities. The position is based in Eugene, Oregon, with a hybrid arrangement combining telecommuting and onsite work. The selected candidate must live in Oregon. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; EWEB cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
